CHEXS are a family support charity based in Hertfordshire. 

CHEXS is an award-winning charity based in Waltham Cross and for the last 12 years has been working with referred school-age children and their families to help improve their wellbeing, skills, and aspirations, as well as addressing barriers which are stopping them from achieving their potential. Currently our work takes place within 15 of the local schools, and our support ranges from 1 to 1 parenting sessions, workshops, holiday activities and our award-winning GROWTH programme. 

 

The unique GROWTH programme helps create opportunities to learn new skills and develop personally in different environments that allow children and young people to thrive allowing them to flourish by giving them:

A key A key part of our successful approach is that, alongside supporting the child, we provide whole family support. The charity employs a team of highly trained family support workers to help both young people, parents and carers as well as the local community. CHEXS unique whole family approach addresses the issues a child may be facing by raising parents’ ability to communicate with their children, improving family relationships and supporting child development.

Referrals to CHEXS are usually made through our partnering schools, however referrals can also be made by emailing directly to admin@chexs.co.uk
